The mobile authenticator got nuked when my phone dumped last night. I emailed the signed letter and photocopied IDs per Blizzard instructions first thing this morning. The authenticator is still on the account and I haven't heard a peep other than the auto reply from the initial email.

Last time this happened to my wife her's was removed in under an hour.

What gives?

Response times fluctuate, unfortunately. If you can give me the name and realm of a character on the account I can take a look. I'm not certain if I'll be able to provide much information but I might be able to see something.

It looks like both e-mails were received, so you are in queue for processing. I don't know what the turn around is for this but it should be within 24 hours, hopefully it won't be much longer.

I'm just not sure why on one occasion it takes an hour or so, and on the next it goes on 12 hours. Consistency is a beautiful thing.

Because there is a bit of a difference between a few requests and hundreds, Gunny. I am sorry that your phone broke and you had not previously written down the serial number which could have allowed you to have the Authenticator removed by phone but it is what it is.

How so? So I can have a number to give them if I want to get off work, come home and sit on the phone for hours on end? That's assuming I get home and am able to get in a queue before the end of day cutoff.

Queue times have been much improved for our Billing and Account Services department, they have made great strides in reducing wait times and getting to calls much faster. Given the volume of calls they receive daily that is an accomplishment. There are very few times when calls are actually turned away (receives the "all lines are busy" message) and queues should be no longer than 45 minutes though I'm certain there are anomalies.

The email went in going on 12 hrs ago.

And it will be processed as soon as possible, hopefully you'll receive a response soon.

I see no need for this continuing back and forth so I'll be locking this thread.

Again, I wish you well, Gunny.
