Brewfest = no raid allowed

I have been having a good time doing the brewfest boss a few times. I was trying to collect each trinket. Anyhow, I get out, and someone is starting an ICC10 and just wants 1 person filler. I, being on the low-end of gear capable of hanging in icc10, applied and was accepted.

So, then I go to icc.

"You have entered too many instances recently."

I waited over *30 minutes* outside the door while they gathered everyone, summoned, and cleared all the trash to marrowgarr, and I still could not go in.

This policy BLOWS. There is no reason I should be excluded from a raid because I was killing the friggin special event boss.

That hasn't really anything to do with it, Infuscare.

This is a limitation that has been on a VERY long time - years. You can do 5 instances per account, per hour. If you choose to use those on the event, that's fine, but there will be a bit of a waiting period before you can access any other instance.

The issue is that with the instant dungeon, I have no warning about the instance lock.

In fact, you can do as many instant dungeons as you want. I bet I did 10 runs of the direbrew guy collecting the various trinkets. The ONLY penalty for this now is raids, because from my experience, it doesn't affect 5-mans using the dungeon system.

You'd get no warning in any other instance either, unless you tried to enter capped.
