Unauthorized Authenticator

Somehow my gmail has been hacked, and my account is now compromised with an authenticator on it.
What can I do? I had an old account hacked not too long ago and it was also related to gmail and assume this is related to that, but I ran antimalware and it said my system was clean. So I'm not sure how to even secure my account at this point. The phone support is closed right now.

I am also wondering if I can change the email for my account because gmail is failing me pretty hard right now and I'm not happy about it.

Hi Tomcruisader,

I don't see any indication of an authenticator being added on the account. All the activity I see appears to be normal.

I'd recommend going through the following security information:In regards to an e-mail change, you will need to contact our billing and account services during their hours of operation.

Account Services
Assists with: billing issues, password recovery, paid services, subscriptions, payment issues, account management, etc

Hours: 7 AM to 8 PM Pacific Time

Thanks for clarifying the issue, Tomcruisader. I see you opened an in game ticket as well. If possible try regaining access to your e-mail and secure it! If you are unable to regain access to your e-mail account, you will still need to contact our billing and account services team to update the e-mail.

Your compromise issue will be looked into by our game masters.

I'd recommend what Amaelalin mentioned:

The best way to secure your gmail account is to update your login information from a secure computer. The password should not be reused elsewhere.

Additionally, if your computer has been compromised, logging in may potentially update the malicious party with your new login information.

Steps are pretty much the same but PLEASE don't get the restoration started until you are certain both your system and email are secure.

As you've seen, if they CAN get back in - they WILL be back.
