In the WoW game, there is a button that says "Talk to GM" if I wanted to, can I just hit it to say "hi" if I wanted to, or maybe have a conversation with one...

I probably can, but mostly likely wont get a response since they are having a high number of petitions right?

You probably will get a response, but it'll be at some point next day or the day after that, whenever they have time. And I believe you'll need to put a reason for your request too. They don't have the leisure of chitchat unless it conserns an in-game issue.

Holymightt, there was a time when Game Master's received such petitions fairly regularly. I know first hand that they can be the petition that brightens your day, or something that sticks with you for a while. Unfortunately with queue times being what they are right now, it seems we see less and less of these petitions. While we would be willing to take a moment to stop and talk to you, please realize that you should not take advantage of the petition system.
