RAF scam attempt

Somebody advertised selilng a RAF rocket mount. Since I was certain the mount was BOP and could not be sold, I enquired. They said that what they were offering was signing them up through RAF, then I'd get my mount and I pay them the gold. I had the gold and wanted the mount, so I agreed. They gave me a name and email address to plug into the RAF fields and I did. They said they got the email and asked for the gold.

At that point, and especially after the conversation that ensued, I'm convinced the person was a scammer trying to dupe me out of my gold. I want to say "no harm no foul." But my question is this: Does my entering their provided name and email address send them any info about me or my account?

Please don't do this Frao.

These are scams. Not only are they looking for your ingame gold, they then pay for the recruited account (if they indeed do it and you aren't scammed outright) with stolen credit cards.

You don't want to have any part of a deal like this, it can come back to haunt.
