just out of curiousity does blizzard condone scamming/ninjaing from raids?
got mai tankin boe ring ninjad from icc25

boe drops, raid leads says "boe's will be rollld for at the end of raid" (should have been suspicious)
tanks r sayin its ms rolls, raid lead agrees for roll for end of raid, group falls apart on fester and the raid lead d/cs (ninja logs out)
he then posts it in trade ring for xX gold

i talked to this persons Gm and actions r taken for this player (privacy reasons i cant disclose this information) lol

and i opend a ticket with a gm and got a automated mail back basicly stating that there lookin into it
and at the bottom of the mail it said an odd thing master loot function roll r only for the master looter convinace. so does this mean that blizzard is condoning ninja master looters?

master looter says rolls r ms/os and highest roll wins but since rolls r for mai convinace if i dont like the outcome i can just say i (master looter) gets it ...blizz help a very cunfused fox out pls

We do take scam reports seriously and will look into them.

That does not, however, necessarily mean any items will be re-distributed. If a scam is proven the appropriate actions will be taken up with the perpetrator, but we aren't at liberty to share those actions.

That's pretty much a warning about that loot type.

Master Loot is not really the best option for a PUG. But it's very definition, you are allowing that player discretion in large part over how, why and when things will be distributed. That's why there is no such thing as a 'ninja' in WoW. You cannot steal loot the system allows you access to, and as Master Looter, the system does just that.

There is such a thing as a scam, however.
