Saw this on the Home Page and thought..oh WoW that would be cool!

But its only open to 48 of the US States and Canada (except Quebec)

Now this is a slap in the face to the rest of the WoW World. Blizzard you do realise that most of your player base live outside of the US do you not???

Now I know that the cost of flying Two people from half way round the World would be alot more expensive, but why not offer another 1st Prize if someone won from say the UK???? Some copy of Cata when it comes out maybe???

All of the other prizes could easily be given to anyone.

I'm guessing that with most contest restrictions, it's because of local laws that prohibit your country from entering, not because the cost of a plane ticket.

Take for example the arena tournament. It wasn't open to most, if not all Canadiens, due to their laws.

Bulchanon has the right idea. As with all contests, there are certain legal/local law restrictions that forbids Blizzard to offer such contests everywhere. IMHO, it would be awesome if we could easily include our entire player base for each of these contests. However, if any of you wish to inquire why you are unable to participate, I would advise you to contact your local law makers.
