On Amazon a release date for Cataclysm is posted for 11-23-2010

So thoughts on this date is it legit oy a marketing ploy for more pre-sales for thier site? I have been to the site before and there was no date just a 2010 release. Now that there is a date hmmm could it be?

As others have mentioned, Maradorn, its pure speculation. There is no official release date. If you are interested in a release date, I would recommend keeping an eye out on our official sites.
