Account Recovery Fail

Hi, my friend asked me to create this post as recently his account was hacked.

His level 78 account is being used to farm herbs as i have seem it doing so in north-rend.
Also his account was also leveled to 80 for him, (he was peeved)

He has sent a account recovery to battle net with the automated system but he has received no email.
Have the hackers changed the email? Please help.
