So I received two identical bad grammar emails from noreply@blizzard.com on the email account that used to be connected to my WoW account. I'm really confused because they don't ask me for my password or to go to a strange site so it can only be Blizzard.

Can someone explain. This is copied identically and I received this same email twice on an old email account that is no longer associated with my battlenet account.

What you are receiving, Ursula, is what is commonly referred to as a Phishing e-mail. This is an e-mail sent by an exploitative party that is likely trying to gain access to your account. The link I removed from your post was not to any of our registered domains, and if you happened to click on it, you may want to run a few virus or malware scans. If you can, you should also forward that e-mail with the full header to hacks@blizzard.com so we can investigate the source. ;)

We have some great resources on how to avoid these scams or how to identify them out the gate. Be sure to check them out if you have a chance, and check out the last couple if you have concerns about your computer security.
