Inappropriate names?

Ive been running around on the Arthas server for about 4 months now and am boggled and bombarded by the bad names I see people using..I report them, and yet nothing ever changes (as these people still have the same name) ..

They include but dont stop at:
A pally named <removed>
A hunter named <removed>
A warlock named <removed>
A pally named <removed> (which later apparently had to get changed... and all he changed was the R to an L ...really)
All the DKs running around with (insertdirty-DK pun here)

I could go on more, but Ill be good and stop there. Is there no longer any punishment for bad names, or has customer service just gotten so backed up that Bilzzard doesnt care anymore? Ive been on several servers in the past, and only recently have I seen the large influx of 'naughty' names, 'naughty' guild titles, etc.

Does it bother me? A tad, since the names ARE against the rules.. but Im merely asking on the basis of if anyone else has noticed a lot of these kinds of names lately, and if theyve actually ever seen Bliz do something about it.

QFT.

I'm curious why all the names are being removed from these posts. Is it because some of them are inappropriate? (which seems unlikely considering several of them were not), or is it to protect these people if they happen to be real names of characters in the game?

If the answer is the latter - wow. Just wow.

To answer your question, Shargaas, yes the names were removed as calling out other players on the Forums is against the CoC.

It seems as though you feel very strongly about this matter. If you feel as though we are not doing enough to monitor the realms as you see fit, then by all means, please submit your feedback via email at [email protected].

I would encourage you to continue submitting tickets with any names that violate our Naming Policy found here:
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/20421

Each name will be investigated accordingly.
