Mekgineer's Chopper to Mechano-hog

Simple yes or no question, If I have a Mekgineer's Chopper in my inventory and i Faction change it turns into a Mechano-hog correct?

I'm afraid that is not correct, Tylvalaes. The Mekgineer's Chopper/Mechano-hog will swap over to the appropriate faction regardless of whether it has been learned or not.
