It sounds as though the person who whispered you may have you confused with another player, Roguetress. We would never whisper a player with the statement you provided. :/
We are aware players are responding to whispers from people pretending to be Blizzard employees. I highly encourage you to familiarize yourself with the following Knowledge Base article so you really will know when a Blizzard employee contacts you in game:
