I just purchased a paid server transfer and paid faction change for my level 80 hunter Venue; I moved from Windrunner alliance to Sen'jin alliance, then changed from alliance to horde. I had previously created a character on Sen'jin with the name Venue so that I could use the name would be available once I arrived, a character which I deleted once the transfer was complete. While selecting my new horde race, I changed my hunter's name from Venue#####, the pound sign being the string of letters and numbers randomly assigned, to Venue, and the name was accepted. However, my character is now flagged for a name change, I assume due to the need prior, but I cannot take the name Venue due to already being named Venue.
I submitted a GM ticket a few moments ago, but due to character limits the ticket didn't quite explain my entire issue, thus I'm posting here.
Is there a chance a blue on here could help me out, or should I sit on my ticket until the GM staff is available?
