Everyone tells me to avoid this and have my new system up and playing completely updated as quick as possible I will need to connect my new hard drive and one I am on now to my router and create a network. doing so I will be able to share my fully installed and patched game from old system to new, and be ready to play as soon as the transfer is complete.
I have NEVER done or for that matter had to do this for any reason before. So I have a question or two, so I don't make a critical error.
The WOW folder on my old system is located on my desktop. and contains the following folders & files:
Cache
Data
Errors
Interface
Logs
Screenshots

WTF
BackgroundDownloader
Blizzard Updater

So do ALL of the above need to be copied and transfer to the new system for it to be ready to play?
Are there some of them that can be left out WITHOUT causing a problem?
And will this even work?
I have a very restrictive daily download restriction, or I would just install the pre-installed game and dload all the patches fresh. If at all possible I need to try and avoid that, or it will take me well over a week to even be able to play with the size of some of theses patches.
TIA!!!
