Today's patch download changed the way the patching has happened in the past. Typically, the patch is downloaded in the launcher and there is a restart. Today, after logging in and getting to the character screen, there was a % thermometer, then a shift to the launcher thermometer, then another small window opened up and more stuff downloaded, then the game rebooted.
That seemed suspicious and in the security challenged wow world it would be appreciated if blizzard would stick to a standard patch/update sequence of events of notify us if things will be different. Thanks.
