1.) I request that Blizzard be more responsible with the patches. After I logged in I received a download dialog. My first thought was, "has my account been hacked?" Blizzard should do at least a two day advance MOTD notice about required downloads so that we are not left looking at a dialog box going, inappropriate acronym removed?
2.) The download dialog hung with the message "wating for files to close." But WoW was not running. I brought the task manager and started killing off processes. Turns out that killing Curse Client did the trick.
Perhaps one of the reasons Blizzard is so prone to being hacked is Blizzard's own doing in how surprises are constantly pop up. If Blizzard took its responsibilities seriously, like communicating when authentic patches in advance, people could make better decisions about what's real and whats fake.
Just my 2 cents.
Cheers!
