Character ineligible to transfer servers.

I recently recovered my account and the individual performed an unauthorized server transfer. I was unable to access my character, Yebbs of Mal'ganis, until I called Blizzard yesterday and he was put back on his original realm.


I was just wondering if this 3 day lockout period is intended for a circumstance like mine, and if not is there anyway that hold can be lifted?
