Possible 4.0 patch on CD?

I ask this because the 4.5GB+ is just too much to download for myself and many others that I've talked to. Folks that are still plagued by dial up or like myself, have a monthly download limit will have a rough time. I know there's no way I can download that much without gimping my internet use for the month, even spread out over the month of sept/oct that will still restrict quite a bit of my internet use for that.

I think many people would be willing to purchase a patch CD if it was made available. I realize that's a bit much to ask but so is downloading that much of a patch. The only alternative some folks will have is to wait for Cata to actually hit.

I'm sorry, Agememnon, but that is not currently an option. If you would like to see such an option introduced you will want to post your feedback on our Suggestion forum.

I have it enabled but I had to disable it once I saw the size of the patch. I have 5GB/Month limit so unfortunately that is not an option for me. Like I said even spread out over 2months that would take up half my internet usage for both months.

Though not currently available, Agememnon, you may look into the patch mirror sites.

Perhaps there are options for you to download the patch at an alternate location. I'm not entirely tech savvy but it seems to me that may be an option. :)

Downloading from one of those sites still would eat into my 5/GB.

Yes, I understand that, Agememmon. I was thinking more of perhaps visiting an establishment that may allow you to download the file or connection with a laptop and use a jump drive or if you have a friend that doesn't have a limit. Just an idea.
