A friend (trogdorstwin) and I was trying out a tunneling service just a few seconds ago and he was instantly banned.

Could you please tell us your stance on this as I'm sure he is not able to post on the forums due to this ban.

I don't think your friend was banned, Release - he likely received a message similar to 'This account has been locked for suspicious activities.'

He should check his registered e-mail address for more information regarding this lock on his account. As others have mentioned, the use of most proxies or tunneling services are not strictly prohibited, but they are not supported either. As a result, situations like this can arise if we see suspicious activity on an account.

It's possible the e-mail simply hasn't arrived yet. The best suggestions I could offer, Release, would be for your friend to check our our Account Security information, and perhaps utilize our Account Recovery webform if he is having difficulty logging in. If your friend is completely locked out of his account, he will need to contact our In-Game support or our Billing & Account Services department for additional assistance.
