Is "wowgm" blocking my email address?

Yes, it sounds completely absurd... but hear me out! Earlier today I decided I would like to go through the process of having a character restored, so after doing a bit of research on the best way to communicate with the GMs and NOT have to sit at my computer for 10 consecutive hours out of fear of missing the response, I decided to send them an email. Of course I sent my inquiry to [email protected], but I failed to receive a "donotreply" email. Typically this wouldn't alarm me except I have sent countless emails in the past to this very address and ALWAYS received a donotreply, even when they were just simply replies in the conversation I was having with the GM.

As I said, it sounds completely absurd and I wouldn't imagine Blizzard would EVER block a customer's email address unless they did nothing but send spam or harass employees with the email, but I have reason to believe that maybe a GM that was dealing with a request of mine from several months ago got tired of my persistence and sent me to the "spam" list. Again, that's a scenario that's completely unprofessional and I would not imagine anyone at Blizzard would even consider something like this, but I simply don't know the circumstances. I would love to have my issue resolved without sitting idle at my computer, so not having the confirmation that my email has been received is hardly assuring enough for me to go do something else. Thank you for taking the time to review my issue and I appreciate any response I can get.

edit: I failed to mention that I am 100% positive the "donotreply" did not go to my own spam folder, so I am clearing that up before anyone tries to insult my intelligence and suggest that.

I checked into it, Huanshoe, and your e-mail was indeed received. It is currently awaiting a response and should be answered shortly.

I apologize if there was any confusion, but you may want to check your own spam filters as well - sometimes the donotreply e-mails will end up there by accident. >^.^<

This thread is quickly getting off track and a little too abrasive, and all necessary answers have been provided - let's keep the tone helpful, whether you're the OP or not. Thanks. <3
