R-a-F Triple XP Problem.

I Recruited a friend of mine yesterday and bought him the game up to BC so I could get the bonuses. The accounts are linked, the Summon friend works, I assume that the Grant a Level works, but haven't told him to try it yet. The problem is we are not receiving the triple XP bonus. We are in the same party, no level difference of 3 levels, and are roaming together. We are getting the same XP as if we were in a regular group. We put in a hour and half of total game time to only be at level 10, where as we could be around 12-13 or so say leveling solo. It's a huge disappointment when your excited to receive 3x the XP to only try it out and receive the normal XP.

Please contact me as soon as possible about this, and if possible, could the XP that would of been added on for the hour and a half of played time be added on too since we've played that long only to receive normal XP the entire time?

Both accounts are properly merged. Did you check your combat tab?

How can I tell if I'm receiving triple experience?

Triple experience will be noted in your Combat Log as follows:

"Player gains 'X' experience ('Y' exp Refer-A-Friend bonus)"

The "X" value represents the total amount of experience gained, while the "Y" value represents how much extra experience is gained as a result of the Recruit-A-Friend promotion.

For example: If a monster is normally worth 25 experience (while partied) and you kill it, should you be eligible for triple experience, your Combat Log entry will appear as "Player gains 75 experience (50 exp Refer-A-Friend bonus)".

Also keep in mind of the following:

Do our characters (my character and my recruit's character) have to be same level in order to receive triple experience?

No, but you must be within 3 levels of one another and meeting all other triple experiences requisites in order for both characters to receive triple experience. If this level requirement is not met, only the lower level character will receive the bonus.
