Short passwords are unwise, but that's not usually what gets you compromised. You need to find the source and it's likely malware, a compromised email or you replied to a phish.

I'm not sure where dismissed comes in here - on 9/5 this was reported, and worked. and it looks like it was again addressed on 9/15.

Do you connect from more than one location? If not, you likely still have an issue. If so, any system you use could be the culprit.

I'd heartily recommend adding an authenticator as a secondary line of defense.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.
