Why am I still getting this phishing spam?!?

After a week of twice a day in game emails from the same individual, after dozens of times hitting the "Report Spam" button, after half a dozen CS tickets where I have been assured that the problem will be taken care of...

WHY AM I STILL GETTING IN GAME EMAIL SPAM FROM THE SAME INDIVIDUAL?!?

Really, what do I have to do to put a stop to this? Why aren't in game emails blocked the same way spammers in chat are blocked? Why do I have to keep putting up with this crap? I don't want to know if you are doing something, I simply want something done so I stop getting these spam emails.

Seriously. You'd think after the first dozen reports on the same individual CS would put a stop to this garbage.

As others have indicated, Morley, this is because the [Report Spam] feature does not delete the mail - it only makes it invisible due to the player temporarily being ignored.

Your idea is a sound one - the [Report Spam] button deleting e-mail is a good suggestion. As it is, the mail usually stays just in case there was an error in the report - it would be rather a bummer if you reported by accident a mail that contained money from your buddy, or gems from one of your alts. ;)
