I panic in PvP.

Hello. I've been playing this game for a little over a year now and I've been enjoying it well enough so far. I'm starting to really pin down PvE, mastering my rotation and the like. However, since I'm still quite new compared to most people who have been with the game for years, I don't measure up quite yet in terms of playing experience. This fact becomes painfully obvious when I try to PvP.

My main spec is Combat, but for PvP I go Sub. I have a myriad of issues doing a single thing. This is because PvP gets very chaotic and I panic. When PvEing, I know where everything is for every situation. My keybinds are set up so I can kick when I need to, and Eviscerate with precision. (More or less. I'm still sort of learning it.) When applied to PvP, though, I could set up the bars and keybinds a thousand times over. I never remember where anything is. I'm freaking out so badly that I just can't remember what to do and when IF I even know what to do in that situation.

So I go looking for it on my screen to click on it, or press the key. In the time it takes me to find Will of The Forsaken, let's say, I've already been dotted up, blinded, feared, frozen, trapped... (etc.) And before I know it I'm dead, and waiting to be rezed at the graveyard. Why does this happen? Well since I'm busy looking at the sides of my screen for things, I don't see what's happening in the actual game. I can't see that the enemy is distancing himself from me, or that I'm running the wrong direction. I never think "Hey, I'm being charmed by a Succubus! Maybe I should WoF that B!tch off!" Or, "Oh no! I'm in trouble! Maybe I should vanish!" Or, "I have a lot of Debuffs on me. Maybe a Cloak of Shadows would help me right now!" I never think those things because I don't have the time to. I never know how many debuffs are on me, or when to WoF, because everything is happening so damn fast that I just stare at my bars drawing a total blank.

So some heavy duty advice for a noob would be highly appreciated. I really wanna like PvP. I want to be able to have fun with it. But right now all it's good for is making me think "ohcrapohcrapohcrap"


I don't even really know how to play a Sub Rogue all that well. Any help would be much appreciated.
