I was not helped with my hacked account

So it took nearly 3 days to get my ticket responded to. I was very clear that my account was hacked and my toons on the Lightninghoof server were looted, sharded etc. Because of space limits in the message i didn't have room to list everything.

Today I get a response listing a completely different toon than the one that made the petition, on a different server, showing that 10 coarse stone were restored.

<facepalm>

Ok, so first off, that server and those toons had no issue. I caught the hacker in mid destruction and changed the password, which was stated in my ticket. The ticket was sent from an entirely different toon on a different server!

Tonight I replied to the email, which seems also to be broken, since instead of actual macro replacements it has strings like:

%Personal:..GM Name..:Greetings:Restoration%

at the top and bottom.

I don't know where I stand now, nor what I should do. I replied to the original email, listing the toons that were looted & sharded, as well as reiterating that the guild bank was also cleaned out, but that email came from wowgm@blizzard.com, and given that the macro system is clearly borked, I don't have any idea if someone is going to pick up this issue and actually help me out.

What do I do now?

That is strange, Baaboo, as you should have received at least 7 more e-mails letting you know which characters have been restored. Sorry for the confusion.

The reason the e-mail stated a character that you did not submit a petition from is because during a compromise investigation we look into what happened during the compromise. We look at all characters on all realms and not just the ones you may have reported. The one character in that e-mail lost some items during the compromise, the value of those items is irrelevant. :)

Now, if you log into your other characters on Lightninghoof you should note that you have some e-mails on 7 of your characters. The Guild Leader of your guild should also have received some in-game mail as well.

Please check those characters. If you believe you are missing any items after you have checked feel free to submit another petition.
