Ive had my account deactivated since march 2010 and I just went threw the process of getting blizzard to unban it because apparently someone hacked my account in june and used a referral reward to activate my account. Now I kept track of my items and have a full list of everything missing from my account all the way down to how much gold silver and even copper is missing. I dont really understand how or why someone would get my account when its not even active and go threw the hassle of activating my account just to take some items and delete one of my toons. All of my characters are still fully geared and the person who hacked the account was using my mage to do everything because he /gquit my mage and transfered items that wouldnt even be on my mage to him. Well ill stop it here seems pretty long winded, but i would really appreciate it if blizzard would take a closer look into this. Thanks

I am happy to hear you were able to recover the account, Nemlo.

There really is no rhyme or reason why hackers do what they do. There is an obvious method to their madness, but what that is one may never know.

You requested the situation be reviewed and it appears as though a Specialist has concluded the investigation. An email was sent to the registered email address associated with the Battle.net account. Take a look at it when you have the chance.
