Excellent suggestion as it does appear that the petition you currently have open may be "stuck". I'm glad that you caught it relatively quickly, Dakall.

Though it shouldn't be necessary in this case, I may be able to help.

From looking at the petition it seems you are having an issue with a specific throwing knife? That knife is the reward from a repeatable quest to gain reputation with Ravenholdt. From what I can see all the knives that you have sold to a vendor all have different creation times so it isn't returning to you, you are just acquiring new ones as you turn in that quest. :)

Please let me know if you need anything else, I'll close the petition you have open which should allow you to create new petitions without any issues.
