My email has been compromised

I believe my (non battle.net) email address has been compromised some how. I noticed when I recieved a very large number of mailer-daemon type emails saying that an email with the subject Worldofwarcraft Account Login couldn't be delivered. I got fifty to one hundred of these error mails within a few minutes, then a few more in trickles over the next day or so. I checked my sent box, and sure enough, I had sent the emails in the first place. All of these have subjects and senders that sound like official blizzard business, and are trying to convince people to click on some official sounding website. Obviously keyloggers. Since this, I have changed the password on all my emails addresses, as well as my security questions. I haven't noticed any more sent emails since the first date, but i'm getting a few more error mailings.

Is there anything else I need to do? I don't like the idea of sending phishing emails to others, any more than I like the idea of my email being hacked. Am I in danger of any kind of disciplinary action, either from Blizzard or my email provider?

Thanks for any help on this issue.

I'm sorry to hear you've experienced this, Bogg. =( I'm afraid we can't really help you directly with your e-mail account security, but I can refer you to our Account Security Awareness page for steps that would normally be used for securing your Battle.net account. Many of the steps would also be excellent for securing your e-mail address, so they are worth a look over.

As for disciplinary action, we're generally pretty good about identifying where these kinds of mails come from, and if we suspect the person from the account was not the true perpetrator, we'd rather assist you getting back into control than punish you for something you did not do. As I am not part of your e-mail provider, I would not be able to comment on their methods.
