Mobile authenticator update

Hello I have the Android version of the mobile authenticator and today there is an update for the authenticator. My quesiton is do I need to remove the authenticator from my bnet account before updating the authenticator? When I go todo the update it says the new version will replace the old one and im worried that if I update the authenticator it will not work on my account.
