I was just playing starcraft 2... and then i logged after completing the campaign. Well i came back from going to get food, maybe 30 mins away... and to come back and my account was locked "due to suspicious activity". I had to open up windows 7 on-screen keyboard to change my password, and recover my account. Now I do admit i do use smoothping for world of warcraft, because im currently stationed in Misawa, Japan (im air force). So i use smoothping to get a better connection. Can a blue please post in-response to as why my account was locked?

And further more information: I soon checked my email, and it shows A LOT OF blizzard email, some im not even sure are legit... i deleted over 30 emails from "blizzard". Once i opened the website to recover my account, i was sent another email from noreply@blizzard.com and i changed my password... and now i can log on. This worries me, because now either

A. i have a keylogger (which is 99% impossible, because i JUST installed windows 7 after i bought it a week ago), or

B
. blizzard is thinking im someone else thats on my account.

Any information regarding this would be really helpful, and a load off my shoulders to worry about..

I am not familiar with Smoothping so I cannot comment on whether or not the use of this service played a role in the account lock. I do show quite a few IP changes which may be a result of this service trying to find the best connection, or someone actually attempting to access the account.

To check the legitimacy of an email, take the time to view the email headers. We have created a Knowledge Base article detailing how to check the email headers and what to look for.

Lastly, you may wish to also update the contact information on the account to reflect your military address if you have not done so already.
