Adult and Minor on same account

In the General forum someone asked about having a parent and child on same account such that they could play at same time.

Someone answered:
Q u o t e:
Actually, Blizzard allows one minor child to share an account with a parent or legal guardian. So if your son is a minor, you two can share a WoW account.

I don't have the link right off hand, but the Customer Service Forum folks would tell you the same.

Is this true? If so, how is it accomplished?

Let me clarify this just a bit for you, Imsoold.

A parent/legal guardian can share an account with a minor child. This can be either a Battle.net account with multiple WoW licenses attached or a Battle.net account with one WoW license attached.

In the case where more than one WoW license is attached to the Battle.net account – both the parent and child can play at the same time, just not on the same WoW license. When logging into the game a dropdown menu will appear prompting you to select which account you wish to play. Parent and child would select the appropriate account at this point.

If there is only a single WoW license, only one party (parent or child) could play the account at that time. For example, if the parent is currently playing the game and the child attempts to log in, the parent will be disconnected.

I hope this helps to clear up some confusion.
