It sounds like your original World of Warcraft account was not merged to your current Battle.net account, Rafigan.
You will want to log into your newly created Battle.net account here:

And then click on 'Account' at the top. On this new screen, you should have an option on the far right called 'Merge a World of Warcraft Account.'
Fill out the information there and you should be able to merge your old World of Warcraft account to your new Battle.net account. =)
If you have lost any of the necessary information to merge, you may need to contact our Billing & Account Services Department for additional assistance.
