PTR Client Issue - Keylogger??

Good afternoon,

I decided to download the PTR client this morning to try the upcoming patch. My Kaspersky alerted me that the download was "dangerous" and the digital signature was not verified. I went forward with the download and application anyway, and then it told me that it was a keylogger. I ran my virus scan, as wll as malware and thankfully nothing was infected or out of the ordinary.

Is there a known issue with the PTR? Thank you for your help in advance.

Hi Odyne,

We have received reports that several antivirus programs are detecting the public test realm (PTR) client as Apyware. As others have mentioned, make sure you are running the latest virus definitions and use our official Blizzard Downloader to obtain the PTR client.
