[Bug] Hydrocane dispels flight path gryphon

If I equip or unequip Hydrocane while on a flight path, the gryphon vanishes, and I "swim" the rest of the way. I've tried swapping between three different weapons, and it only happens when I equip or unequip Hydrocane specifically.
