The in game customer support simply states that contacting a GM is the last resort, to put on your language filter, ignore the player, leave the channel etc.
Is this really the policy? The (slightly modified) saying "Whats not banned is allowed" seems very apt in this regard. Not having things like this clearly covered is a negative aspect to this game sadly.
As an example I just witnessed a person in an AV match state "removed" and soon after "removed". It went on to an arguement in which he states he was doing nothing wrong, freedom of speech meant he could say whatever he wanted and it wasn't against the ToS.
How accurate is this really? I come across these types of comments on average 2-3 times a week, and while the ignore function is something I do make use of, there is always another one popping up. Should we really have to add a new person to our ignore list this often, or should these types of comments be clearly stated as against the ToS, and enforce them properly? I have reported many people in the past, but I stopped bothering long ago because nothing ever seemed to be done. They were still online, and still saying the same type of comments after the ticket had been dealt with.
How are such tickets really enforced? Are they looked into at all? Whats the average response? Can they get banned if they are reported on more than onc occasion? More than five times? More than ten times? Or do we get the cut and paste response to ignore them, and thats that?
The ToS for this is very unclear, and really does need to be redone. Perhaps it was enough during Pre-BC, but as the player base gets larger, so does the idiot population. I would personally happily put up with gold spam, and dead level ones advertising websites if only the rude moron population of the game was dealt with.
I'll be bumping this topic everyday until I get a reply, as I do believe this is something that is getting more and more out of control and needs to be looked at seriously.
