Several months ago, my brother died.

He was the one who got me into WoW, originally letting me create a character on his account. I eventually bought my own and paid to transfer my character onto this account, so that we could play together. He stopped playing a long time ago, before Wrath, and has let his account fall into frozen status.

Is there someone I can contact about recovering his account? I'd like to be able to have it, maybe pay for a month subscription to look over his characters and remember the good times and what drops we got for him together. I have a copy of the death certificate and will if necessary, but don't know which of the numbers or emails to ask about this issue.

I am deeply sorry for your loss, Boltage. I am sure losing your brother has been difficult on you and your family.

We are able to assist in cases where an immediate family member passes away, however it will require you to contact Account Services for all the details on what documentation will be required to get the account updated.
