RaF/account upgrade isn't working properly

So I wanted to do RaF. I sent the invite, upgraded to the full game. On my new account, I'm unable to trade, or send invites. It shows that it has been upgraded on Battle.net and when I log in, the bar that says "Upgrade to full version" is no longer there. Yet the game treats it like a trial account. I'm using my WotLK client, and never downloaded the trial one.
On top of that, when I party up with my RaF account, we're not receiving triple xp, but we can still summon each other.

Did I miss something?

The account you recruited was upgraded via the Direct Online Upgrade. As such, in game communication will be restricted up to 72 hours while the transaction processes. An email will be sent to you when the upgrade completes. Until that time, you will be able to level past 20 and the gold cap has been removed as well.

The fact you can summon one another is a good sign. In order to receive triple XP, you must be within 3 levels of each other, both characters need to be lower than level 60, and you cannot be killing mobs that are “gray” to either of you.
