Hello, I play on windrunner server and our guild has a serious problem. Our guild is an endgame raiding guild and there is an individual from a competing guild who is getting our raid lockout and buring all of our hardmode attempts so we cannot play. We have lost players becuase of this and others have gave up raiding. Removed wether it be on his main or alts is abusing our guild out of just childish joy. This is greatly negetively impacting our guild and nothign is being done.
The first time it happened 1 week after he did the same to Removed another raiding guild on our server, he invited one of our members to raid untill someone clicked the invite tossed them lead then zoned in and saved himself and continued to burn our atttempts. I placed a ticked with recent text of my conversation with him admitting he did in fact do it and he didnt care it was for fun. The gm's did nothing at all but tell me nothing can be done. I also called and got the same. This week once again he gets our instance and has burned our attempts.
Will this never end? Our whole guild now feels there is no reason to play or raid becuase we cant raid and its condoned by blizzard.
Please help us and show that this kind of conduct is not allowd. Please restore our lock out and ban this player for excessive harrassment of over 80 + players multiple times. Becuase if you dont he will never stop and you are going to lose a ton of players who have been loyaly playing this game for over 3-4 years. We deserve this much

It does appear that you have a petition in on this issue, Lohky, and it will be addressed as quickly as possible. I can assure you all issues of this nature are thoroughly investigated, and appropriate actions taken. As always, due to privacy concerns, we are unable to disclose any actions taken on another player's account.

I also looked over your petition history, and this is the first time I see this particular behavior reported. I'm afraid it is difficult for us to investigate if we are never made aware of the issue.

In the future, please avoid calling out players on the forums, or posting screen shots or player names. It is a violation of our Code of Conduct, and these kinds of requests for help are better addressed through our petition system.

If you feel inappropriate action was taken in response to any of your petitions, you are also more than welcome to let our staff know through our feedback e-mail at wowgmfeedback-us@blizzard.com.

That's a little confusing to me, Lohky, as our Game Masters are normally not contactable via phone. Only our Billing & Account Services, as well as Technical Support, representatives have phone access.

Do you happen to remember which character you filed those petitions on, or around how long ago you may have put them in? I would be very interested to see them. I do see one concerning harassment on your Ventrilo server from just shy of two weeks ago, but that would be an issue that is beyond our Game Masters' capacity to assist.

Q u o t e:

The ticket from two weeks ago was containing that he did bomb our ventrillo and crash it and also ninja'd our instance. That is the ticket.

Ah, I see, and you had a conversation with a Game Master at that time who addressed that, in a situation where a player was invited to the raid and fully participated, they are able to do what they wish with the Raid ID in question.

That information is correct. However, it does sound like this may be a different situation, and could be a potential abuse of in-game mechanics. As I mentioned, your petition is in queue and will be addressed as soon as possible. Understand that we do try to dissuade players from continuing this type of behavior, but continued similar behavior can and will lead to permanent account closure. Do keep our Game Master staff informed if this player continues to harass you and your guild in this manner.

I understand that when a person does this once you may look the other way with a slap on the wrist, however if you allow it to persist and the person does this multiple times then I really am concerned that you feel it unnecessary to protect your customers ability to play your game.

I cannot divulge what actions we may or may not take in these situations, Everrolas. But understand, not every poorly behaving player learns from their actions.

The best advice I can lend is to continue reporting these cases to us. Each additional case, if actioned, will stack up against those players. If they don't learn from a temporary leave, they may eventually find themselves unable to play at all.

I've already provided this information previously, but if you would like to view how our Account Penalties and the 'Penalty Volcano' works, you are welcome to here:
