Howdy howdy,

Alright Blizz peeps! Here's my timeline, starting with 90 minutes ago

90 ago - M'uru dies. Gate to Kil'jaaden remains locked, Kil not spanwed. GM ticket filed
80 ago - GM responds, confirms that a soft reset will fix it
Everyone leaves for a soft reset
45 ago - after waiting 35 minutes, we go in. Gate is still up--did not notice if mobs reset to be honest.
New GM ticket filed, everyone leaves for a 45 minute soft reset
Just now: Went back in, soft reset has definitely occurred because I see that mobs we had left alone are dead...

... but Archonisus, the Third Gate remains up, and Kil has not spawned.
GM ticket asking for help filed 45 minutes ago remains unanswered as well.

For the love of the Light, what will it take to get my guildmate her attempt at Throdial?

Bonus Question: The GM from 80 minutes ago said that the glitched gate occurred because we killed M'uru/Entropius too quickly. In the future, how long should we drag out phase 1 and phase 2, to assure Sunwell completion?

I apologize for what inconvenience this may have caused you and your group, Red. It looks like the initial steps to correct this issue did not take. We went in an kicked the 3rd gate down so you should be set.

Unfortunately, if you or anyone else in your group has been inside the instance in the last 30 minutes you will need to perform a soft reset in order to pick up the changes to the gate.

To perform a soft reset, follow these steps:

-Have the entire party/raid exit the instance.
(Please note that players who remain inside the instance, even those who are logged out, will prevent this workaround from functioning as it should)
-Wait at least 30 minutes while every raid member remains outside of the instance.
-Re-enter the instance only after 30 minutes have elapsed.

When you re-enter the instance after completing the soft reset, all scripted events that your raid has not yet completed should now be reset and you should be able to continue raiding where you left off.

Do you have their names, Red? I can look at the character's current location and make sure that they are outside of the instance.

The third gate should be down now, Red. You may need to complete another Soft Reset of the instance to see the change.

Instance Soft Reset

    -Disband your raid
-Have everyone in your raid exit the instance and remain out of the instance for no less than 30 minutes
-Reform and enter the raid again

While doing older content far above level too fast can indeed hang some events, I've not heard that to be the cause here - because if a gate is up on a realm, it's up for everyone, not just your raid.

This is something that doesn't usually take terribly long to rectify, however. Not saying this is beyond the realm of possibility, just that I haven't heard that as a cause for this particular issue.
