Pestilence: replace with Blood Boil?

In another thread, GC mentioned that they weren't happy with the current implementation of Pestilence. It was never meant to be a damage-dealing AoE, but just a way to spread diseases. As it stands, it has to do some damage to spread the diseases, but they'd rather stick to Blood Boil for that purpose.

My immediate thought was: why not put the "disease spreading" aspect of Pestilence into Blood Boil? Most of the time, the only reason I'm hitting Pestilence anyway is in preparation for a BB, so what about just rolling the two abilities into one power?

It would take some adjustment, I'm sure. Range and damage would have to be altered, but it would let the developers drop the problem of Pestilence doing damage, while letting DKs do what they really want to: AoE Blood Boil which just happens to also spread your diseases to the targets.

We're starting to think that the ship has just sailed on Pestilence. As I said, our original intent was that Blood Boil be the main AE attack, but now we're considering making Blood Boil more for tanking, letting Frost use Howling Blast and letting Unholy use Pestilence, because, you know, diseases.

Something like that. Full strength might be too powerful, but we'll see. Unholy still has a few too many talents like Improved Icy Touch and Corrupting Strikes, so this might be a good replacement (though likely deeper than those two examples).
