I was stunned (but there was no debuff)

Wow...simply wow.

Last night I decided I wanted to have my level 40 paladin restored. In Dalaran, I entered a GM ticket then went to the landing and took off toward ATG to do my dailies. Before I arrived, not only was my ticket answered, but the paladin had been restored!

Later, I logged out and couldn't find the paladin on my character list, so I logged into one of my other healers (I'm trying to have all four healers ready for the Cataclysm release), and opened a ticket asking where she was...then I queued for a random and got an instant dungeon. Just after the second pull, I had a response, with a helpful GM telling me how to find my paladin [create a new character to reset the character list, btw]!!!

Much faster service than I was expecting, given the stories you hear, especially with a character restoration!

Now, I don't want to spread misinformation about restorations suddenly being instant. Mine was probably the easiest restoration ever.

  • I provided the character name, class, race and level.
I provided an approximate time-frame of the deletion.
I admitted to having vendored her gear and used the proceeds for other purposes. I also didn't ask for any of that gear restored.
I stated in advance that I was aware this would use one of my account's limited restorations and consented to that.

  • I've already provided very positive feedback through the survey, but just wanted to share my experience here.

I’m glad your paladin was returned to you, Bubbaray, and that your restoration was swift! Thank you for submitting the feedback, as it is always nice to hear back from players with information on how their interaction went.

Good luck on getting your healers ready for Cataclysm!
