Upgraded account but still flagged as trial

(NOTE: I've also emailed Blizzard billing about this problem)

A friend of mine referred me to this game under the RaF program. Today I paid for the vanilla and the Burning Crusade expac and installed them both. However when I logged in my account is still flagged as a trial account. Does it take time or something before it takes effect?

As others have mentioned it can take up to 72 hours for the payment to be complete.

The exact text right above the credit card entry is:

NOTE: Most trial restrictions will be removed immediately after payment information is entered for this upgrade, but some restrictions (such as certain in-game chat privileges) will remain in place until payment verification is fully complete. This may take up to 72 hours.

At this point the funds have not been collected from your bank, this is one of the reasons why it can take up to 72 hours to complete. Our billing and account services will not be able to offer a refund since there is nothing to refund until we have collected the funds.
