I lol'd when I saw the thread title, and lol'd harder when I read the post.

What do you really expect the GMs to do? Just because you don't like the behavior or some people (welcome to life..), doesn't mean it's against the ToS.

You joined the group as a PuG, therefore the raid leader can choose to do what they wish. It's basically your fault for looting when you shouldn't have, regardless of "when" you were told. It's common sense to let the raid leader loot as they're generally the ones who distribute loot, especially considering it was a guild run.

In the end, suck it up. I don't understand how you can possibly get upset about something like this and still make it in life as a functional human being.

i dont need people to qq at me i know this sounds stupid and all but come on, i was booted becus someone ELSE glitched and i didnt know?

Unfortuantely, Psomaster, the Raid Leader is able to invite or kick whomever they wish for whatever reason they like.

I am sorry that you had such a negative experience while raiding and hope you can find a different group that you are able to get along with better.

fourrum, since when did this change? not only 2 months ago raid leaders where getting banned left and right for kicking people and gms where on the side of the people getting kicked and loosing out on things.

and now suddenly thats changed? when did that happen?

I'm sorry, Psomaster, but Raid Leaders were not getting suspended for kicking people from group. There usually is a great deal of confusion surrounding what actually happens and what people tell others.

The Raid Leader has always had the final say on who may join the group or is removed from it. Now in the case where a scam may have taken place we can and will look into the situation but overall we do not become involved in group/raid politics.
Q u o t e:

why would blizzard give the raid leaders such extinsive power over a raid and they would never have any retribution happen to them unless its an outright ninja?

The group leader always has that kind of power, Psomaster, from groups consisting of 2 people all the way up to the old raids that consisted of 40 people. When you join a group you are agreeing to give that player control over how things in the group are handled.

I completely understand your frustration, Psomaster, if you believe changes to our looting or group mechanics should be changed in any way or even with our policies please post in our Suggestion forum. Our Developers and Community Managers will be able to review your constructive feedback there.

Folks, I do not mind a civil discussion about this matter continuing but please remove the aggressiveness.

MS > OS is not considered a definitive looting rule nor would statement of a looting limit really. The following article covers the subject of "ninja looting", and what we may consider a scam surrounding such events.

http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=17761

As previously stated the Raid or Group Leader has the power to remove any member they wish for whatever reason, unless loot or the ability to roll on loot was promised to you as the conditions of your participation I am not entirely certain if we would be able to involve ourselves in this matter.

If you feel a scam has taken place, Psomaster, you'll want to submit an in-game petition to it can be looked into.

i did report it ingame with all the details i could fit into the ticket. i hope this time a gm can actualy talk to me rather then respond at 6 in the morning while im asleep cus id like to add more info to it.

If a Game Master is able to speak with you directly they will, Psomaster, though given the situation you outlined it fairly well in your petition so further dialog is likely unnecessary. If additional information is needed they will let you know.

Good luck.
