Disabled for suspicious activity

This morning I woke up, and, to my demise found several email warnings inside my inbox. They warned of my account being disabled. So, here I was ready to click the "Junk" button, when, a little red light went off; all scam emails automatically go into my junk mail. Now, with my morning coffee sitting idle, I try logging onto Battle.net, and, true to the email, my account was disabled.

The warning was for Suspicious Activity, which is really, really broad. Is it possible to find specific details as to what I did that triggered the security features?

I've got an army of high-quality security programs protecting my computer, I'm also very 'savvy' as far as my internet browsing. I'm glad my account was disabled (seemingly minutes/hours after logging off last night) for safety, but I'm trying to find out what the event was to trigger it.

Other notes:
- My former email address (now changed) that was assigned to Battle.net was my common email. I used to receive countless scam emails, all of which were automatically discarded.
- My old (changed it, obliviously) password consisted of a mixture of 6 letters, and 6 numbers. I considered it quite strong.
- I have been transferring some herbs / glyphs / potions / gold from my main (Alliance) to my new character (Horde) via the neutral auction house.

Again, if possible, I'd just like to know what the trigger was to put a little red flag by my account, not that I'm complaining, actually, relieved that I didn't log on this morning with my characters stripped.

If, for whatever reason, the reason behind the disable can not be disclosed, well, thank you for keeping my account safe ^.^

Was this the account you are posting under?

Also, was it your account - or your Battle.net that was disabled?

If Battle.net, it's entirely possible someone attempted to gain access, I'm not seeing anything on the account itself besides your changes.

You may want to consider adding another layer of security to your account by adding an authenticator.
