Question about a petition.

Hi folks

I had a complaint that I filed a few days ago on this character. This afternoon it turned to escalated and then "you will be serviced soon". However, in that time span, I had reported spam by clicking on someone's name in trade chat and reporting them for listing a gold selling site.

I finally got a response to my ticket today, which had to do with misappropriated gear from a raid, and sadly, my in-game mail was about how I reported spam and how it would be easier next time if I just clicked the link in trade and typed it out, not my original problem that I had made a ticket for!

Also, now there is no longer an "open ticket" box at the top of my screen. Do I have to resubmit my original problem and wait another week?

This is a bit odd :)

Looking into it, Jimsguidance, it looks like you were just sent the wrong message. It had nothing to do with the Report Spam option you used, those don't usually receive any reply. I am sorry for what confusion was caused.

The message you should have received would have been a thank you for the report and to let you know that the matter will be investigated and appropriate actions taken based on any violations found.

I would like to note that though you seem to have a the basic idea behind loot rules they really need to be expressed in detail. MS and OS are not conditions of loot eligibility or distribution that we go off of. Your Spec or how much damage/healing, etc... you may have done in a battle are not factors that we look into.
