Authenticator Troubles

Okay, so a day ago I reset/restored my iPhone, forgetting to disable the mobile authenticator before doing so. I sent in an email to billing@blizzard.com, and the message I got back said,

"Greetings,

If you were unable to remove the authenticator using the "Resync" option, please submit the following documentation in order to deactivate the Battle.net Mobile Authenticator:

- A legible photocopy of the identification of the registered account user. Only a government issued photo ID or Birth Certificate will be accepted for the registered user. (School IDs are *not* accepted.)

- Battle.net Account Email Address

- World of Warcraft License Name (if applicable)

- Confirmation and acknowledgement that you desire removal of your authenticator."

I was not too sure where exactly that option was; on itunes, on my iPhone, or on my battle.net account? What exactly do they mean? I am also hoping that someone can give me a very detailed set of instructions on what to do from here on out.

Thanks

If you are speaking of the “Resync” option, Kuuma, this option is found through the application itself. Instructions on how to resync the authenticator can be found here:

If your phone was reset/restored as you stated downloading the application again will more than likely provide you a completely new serial number. I would first try the resync option. If resyncing does not solve the issue, follow the instructions in the email you received.
