My T10.5 Leggings, Removed by GM.

My Alliance warlock on server: Bloodscalp was in a 25m VoA. We downed a boss and the T10.5 Leggings dropped. I rolled and lost to another warlock and I get whispered by the Master Looter saying that he will sell it to me. So I ask him how much? He replies 2k, and I said sure. I paid him, recieved the legs and we concluded the raid.

Apparently a Ticket was put in to complain. 2 Days later I get an email from GM [Removed] saying that my Leggings were being removed, my 2k gold restored, along with my 2 gems and Spell thread.

I was under the impression that GM did not take issues in looting. I was offered by the ML to buy it, and I took the offer. I don't believe I did anything wrong. So could I please get some verification?

I'm sorry you feel that way, Callinto, I would think taking part in what constitutes as a back alley trade for an item you lost a roll on would have raised a flag for you as you seemed very aware that someone else won the item.

No loot rules were stated though.

You misunderstand of what our Scam Policy in place for. It is to address scams, agreements made that are broken. There may not have been looting rules stated at the beginning of the run but that does not mean the Master Looters intentions for the item were not made clear. Statements that were gone against.

It should also be pointed out that you did not get in trouble for participation in this, the item was simply removed and you were refunded the gold and materials you put into the item.

We may not be able to assist with all such looting disputes or incidents but we do what we can when we can.

One of our core values is: Play Nice; Play Fair... do that and you should never have an issue.
