Hello,

This raid happened two weeks ago and it just turned into a huge mess, The ML of the raid said he was going to hold the saurfang loot till the raid was finished, he d/c'd after the next boss due to a lightning storm. When I came back on the next day, I noticed he was already on, probably past the 2 hour time limit, I messaged him regarding this cuz we all rolled on the loot and had someone take a video of the rolls. He said he needed proof, so I had to wait a few days later to ask the guy with the proof to give me the video so I could e-mail it to the ML. Finally got a hold of it, e-mailed it and the ML said he never got it cuz his acct was hacked and when I was talking to him about who to e-mail it to, I was actually talking to the hacker -_-. Me being already fustrated by this said okay, can you give me ur addy now so I can e-mail it now? he said sure, so I did. After all that mess was over, it's well past the 2h time limit, and he was just trying to be legit in who he passed the loot out to. The GM's said they couldn't help cuz it was past the two hour time limit. Now, think about this. If he got disconnected and couldn't come back on until the following day...how is he supposed to distribute the loot he's holding? He showed me a screenshot of what the GM said to him after he put in the ticket. So it's all there. None of it is a lie. I know you all won't ask for proof being the way you are but, how are we supposed to resolve this?

Just to clarify, the 2 hour time is based on played time for the character it doesn't tick down otherwise. So if your Master Looter was disconnected then they would have whatever time was left to distribute loot when they were able to get back online. The loot itself would only be able to be traded to those who qualified for it.

Didn't we discuss this last week, Darkemily?

Regardless if you and the person with the item agree to trade it there are limits to what our In-Game Support staff is able to assist with. Such denials can be due to limitations in the system or policy that we abide by. As in, our Developers and policy makers have decided under what conditions we may be able to help.

Now with the implementation of the 2 hour timer our support staff is rarely in a position to swap a loot item. If the request has been made and been denied the only true method of appeal would be to write to wowgmfeedback-us@blizzard.com as suggested.

if anything you put a light at the end of the tunnel for me rather than saying to give up.

Good luck, Darkemily, I do hope the circumstances surrounding this issue allow us to move the item to you.
