Hi everyone,

This is my first day playing and i bought a 60 day Sub. Because i had to register account, i get 10 free days. Now, the issue i'm having is i don't know where to go to put in my xxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxx "Code".

Can someone enlighten this situation for me? It's a little annoying that i can't find where to put in the code and am restricted from a large majority of the games entitlements.

Thanks for the help everyone.

As Pahanda indicated if you haven't upgraded the account to a standard account yet you'll need to do so. If you use the online upgrade feature the leveling restrictions on the account will be removed immediately though many of the trial restrictions will remain until the purchase is fully processed, this takes up to 72 hours.

If you pick up a retail copy of the game though the restrictions will lift immediately.

To add game time you'll need to log into the Account Management page, select the appropriate account and then click on the Add Game Time Code option.

Q u o t e:
I couldn't have because i bought the game before Lich King came out. I did play once upon a time with this disc.

What do you mean, with this disk, Fatalzsu? Accounts are not tied to the CD/DVD that the client can be installed from.

You said this is your first day playing, which tends to indicate that you are a new player. Meaning you likely started a trial account, which is what you are on right now.

The retail version of the game, if purchased from a retail store, should come with an Authentication Key. This key must be unused as it can only be used once to create an account. Once you have used the key to create an account or upgrade your trial account, you will receive 30 days of game credit.

What is the disk you are referring to? Is it from a retail copy of the standard version of the game? Or is it a trial account disk that is sometimes given out in magazines and stores that offers a 10 day trial account?

Alright, I did a bit of research on you, Fatalzsu.

This trial account, that you recently started is registered to your Battle.net account. You have two more accounts, both under this e-mail address though not merged into your Battle.net account.

One, created back in 2007 is a trial account. The second is a regular vanilla account that you created in 2008.

I believe what you want to do is use that game card to add time to your previously active account. If that is what you want to do you'll need to merge it to the Battle.net account you created.

I can give you a hint as to the name of the account but for the password you are on your own. The account name is your name, not your characters name. :)

If you recall the password used you may log into your Battle.net Account Management page and select the Merge an Account option.

https://us.battle.net/account/management/wow-account-conversion.html

Once you have done that click on that account on your Account Management page and select Add Game Time Code.

If you do not recall the password and are unable to otherwise recover the account you'll need to contact our Billing and Account Service department.
